Welcome!

Our congregation has been a voice for social justice and liberal religion in Northwest Ohio for over 150 years. Born of the Jewish and Christian traditions, we keep our minds open to the religious questions people have struggled with in all times and places.

Feel free to explore our site.

We Welcome
Rev. Beth Marshall as our new Parish Minister
by a unanimous congregational vote

Rev. Marshall will begin serving us in August

June 8th is the date for another important vote.  At the Annual Meeting the board of trustees will call for a vote to sell the Collingwood property.  The vote to purchase the Glendale property passed by 87%.  For more info sign-up to recieve our weekly UU-FYI.

Up Coming Sermon Titles and Themes

July 20 -“A Memorial Service for 2210 Collingwood Blvd.”, Led by Rev. Rod, Rev. Lynn and CLL Bob.    On our next to the last service in this building we thought it appropriate for us to conduct a Memorial Service for the building that has served us for so many years.  During the service you’ll have a chance to share a favorite memory of the building (especially the Sanctuary) and the wonderful people who have made it such a meaningful place to worship.

July 27 - Changing Partners”  Led by your ministers and musicians.  This will be Rod’s last Sunday with you as your Interim Minister, so we want to make it a transition from Rod to Beth – changing partners, if you will.  You are also changing partners in terms of church buildings.  We plan to start this service in the usual way in the Collingwood building, travel in a car caravan to the Glendale building, and end the service there.  Come, let’s celebrate together and take the next steps (dance metaphor intended).
